About Us
When I say " Us" or "We" I mean our family. My Mother you know. But my Dad helps out a lot. And I do some jobs as well, like making this website!

We are a All-natural, grass fed, local farm in the rural border between Puyallup and Tacoma
.
And we are devoted to bring quality meat to our local community.
Cheryl The Pig Lady

Commonly Asked Questions:With Cheryl.

Q:Are you Organic?
A:We are "All Natural" No antibiotics, No hormones, no human manipulations if possible. But we do treat animals if they are sick and remove them from the food chain. As far as our plants, compost, and produce, we are beyond organic. Just adding water and sunshine.

Q:Where Can I buy your product?
A:At the Proctor farmer's market, at Primo Grill, and Capers cafe. And hopefully soon: Mandolin Cafe. If that's not enough for you; join our CSA in Semptember and we will grow for you year round.

Q:Does your meat contain nitrates?
A:Our bacon and ham are cured with nitrates but we use as few as possible to obtain that old fashioned flavor but it is much less than store-bought processed meats because they don't need a long shelf life. All of the rest of our products are "All Natural" No MSG, No Fillers, No nitrates, No byproducts.

Q:Are your animals free range?
A:What does free range mean? Not only do they have access to pasture at all times, they prefer being outside and working symbiotically on the farm in a rotational grazing program. All of our animals run together which helps to break the cycle of parasites and allow our pastures to naturally rejuvenate.

Q:What do your animals eat?
A:All of our animals are out on pasture and receive an All-Plant based product (no animal byproducts) of corn, oats, barley, and molasses. They also receive Alfalfa and local grass hay so they can balance their diet.

Q:Where is your farm located?
A:We are in the Summit area of Pierce County of of highway 512 between Tacoma and Puyallup. All of our product is sold within less than 20 miles of our farm.

Q:How many employees do you have?
A:1 if you count the funny looking kid who's in my booth all the time. The farm is run by myself with help from my son and my husband Matt. And all of the animals work on the farm.
The Workers on the farm.

My mother is by far the hardest working person I know. She does what she does without heavy machinery or hired help. What she does need is her supporting family and to drink her own body weight in coffe every month. The main reason she can do what she does is because the animals do most of the work. No need for Pesticides when you have chickens and ducks. No need for a shovel when you have Pigs. No need for indestructable fences when you have happy animals and a rottweiler on the other side.

When you add the correct elements(not chemicals), nature does the work for you.
