What we grow: The animals and plants that we grow.
We grow Pigs, Cows, Vegetables, Chickens, Herbs, Ducks, Goats, Turkeys, and apparently lots of Earthworms.
All of them work together to create an ECOSYSTEM: A Circle of life so to speak that keeps everything rolling as it should.
Our Animals:
Our animals are the Fertilizer producers, Bug eaters, Grass Chompers, Eagle Defenders, and Living Shovels of our farm. The 'Services' class of the ecosystem.
Our Plants:
Our plants are the Carbon Dioxide Consumers and Vegetable Growers of our farm. The 'Production' class of the ecosystem. Though they are not the main focus of our farm they do play an important role. Our Vegetables and Herbs go to market and then whatever isn't sold that week gets to be eaten by us or the pigs. And when they are done producing we let the animals in to eat them all up so we can grow more the next season. We also have several Perma-culture plants growing such as Raspberries, Blueberries, Apples, and Strawberries. Who knows... maybe we could be selling those someday.
